CLIMB COTOPAXI - 2 DAYS
Day 1
QUITO-RASULARCA (4000M) –CAMPO ALTO
We leave Quito at 9 am in an all terrain vehicle. It will take three hours to arrive at our cabañas in Rasularca. Here we will prepare the equipment after lunch, we start the three hour ascent to base camp, where we have fixed tents and can enjoy a tasty dinner, then relax.
Day 2
CAMPO ALTO-SOUTH PEAK (5880M) RASULARCA-QUITO
At midnight we wake for a typical energizing mountain breakfast then at 1am start our final six hours climb to the south peak of Cotopaxi, where you will experience the breathtaking views and its famous crater.
The descent to base camp will take two hours and from there another hour to arrive at the cabañas, where you can prepare for your return to Quito.

CLIMB COTOPAXI - 3 DAYS
Day 1
QUITO-TICATILIN-RASULARCA (4000M)
We leave Quito at 11am in an all terrain vehicle. It will take two hours to arrive at a small village called Ticatilin (3200m) where you will have the option of hiking 3-4hours to the cabañas at Rasularca. (this hike is recommended as it gives you a chance to acclimatize and experience the beautiful surroundings of this area), or going
After a delicious and hearty evening meal, we relax in the typical adobe cabañas.
Day 2
RASULARCA-CAMPO ALTO (4750M)
At 11am, after a delicious lunch we hike three hours from the cabañas to base camp where we have fixed tents and can enjoy a tasty dinner then relax.
Day 3
CAMPO ALTO-SOUTH AND NORTH PEAK-REFUGE-QUITO
At midnight we wake for a typical energizing mountain breakfast then at 1am start our final six hour climb to the south peak of Cotopaxi where you will experience the breathtaking views and its famous crater.
The descent to base camp will take two hours and from there another hour to arrive at the cabañas where you can prepare for your return to Quito.

COMPLETE CLIMB PACKAGE - 4 DAYS
Day 1
QUITO-TICATILIN-RASULARCA (4000M)

(This hike is recommended as it gives you a chance to acclimatize and experience the beautiful surroundings of this area). Or continue in the car to the cabañas
After a delicious evening meal, we relax in the typical adobe cabañas.
Day 2
After breakfast we start the four hour hike to the Morurco Mountain upon which, you will be able to enjoy some of the most stunning views in Ecuador.
The return journey to the cabañas will take one and a half to two hours.
Day 3
RASULARCA-CAMPO ALTO (4750M)
After a delicious lunch we hike three hours from the cabañas to base camp where we have fixed tents and can enjoy a tasty dinner then relax.
Day 4
CAMPO ALTO-SOUTH PEAK (5880M) RASULARCA-QUITO
At midnight we wake for a typical energizing mountain breakfast then at 1am start our final six hour climb to the south peak of Cotopaxi where you will experience the breathtaking views and its famous crater. After a well deserved rest, we trek thirty minutes to the North side of Cotopaxi where we start our descent to the refuge “José Rivas”. From here you will return to Quito.
